Our mission.

About Us

Be Well Big Sky uplifts and supports the well-being of our community through grassroots peer-to-peer solutions. By integrating neighbors and friends with existing support systems, we enhance accessibility, reduce barriers to care, and normalize the experience of being human.

Our North Star

Big Sky is a community that fosters a culture of care and belonging, resulting in deep connections and well-being for all.

Of the community, for the community

Be Well Big Sky emerged organically in 2021 as a community response to gaps and barriers in mental health care, addressing challenges of geographic isolation, loneliness, and uncertainty about where to turn. Our dedicated navigators—already serving as compassionate listeners, advocates, and connectors—united with the deep understanding that true healing and growth is only possible when we turn to one another and remember we are resourced together.

Navigator Network

We’re a diverse group of Big Sky residents and workforce—from ski patrollers and custodians to teachers, small business owners, and retirees—committed to supporting one another, and trained in emotional first aid to offer immediate support and guide community members toward the critical services they need.
